The Day!

The day has finally arrived!

I left Brazil on August 15th and came to Lebanon to attend the wedding of my friend Rym prior to finally moving to France.

Up until the last minute I was taking things out of the bag because they were not closing, exchanging money, making phone calls; ie it was an eventful day, which actually made things a lot easier and I did not have much time to sit and think that it would be a while until I would actually see everyone at home again!

Although the time to say goodbye was difficult (as it always is), I felt very good right after I crossed the gate and felt happy to be finally embarking. I will certainly miss all my friends and family, but I am convinced that I did the right thing!
